Presently, the Imhof Family (descendants of Franz Xaver Imhof and Maria Regina Schmitt) is located not only in Brusque, but also in other cities as Balneário Camboriú, Barra do Sul, Barra Velha, Blumenau, Camboriú, Canelinha, Canoinhas, Chapecó, Florianópolis, Gaspar, Guabiruba, Guaramirim, Indaial, Itajaí, Itapema, Jaraguá do Sul, Joinville, Lages, Navegantes, Rio do Sul, São João Batista, Tijucas and Vidal Ramos (all in State of Santa Catarina)and few others can be found in Rio Grande do Sul State, Paraná State, São Paulo State, Rio de Janeiro State, Bahia State and Mato Grosso State.
